G. Marabella, Restaurateur

STONE HARBOR - Gabriel Marabella, 71, who had just completed a large addition to his popular restaurant at 9426 3rd Ave., died June 7 in Haverford Community Hospital. . Forty-two years ago he opened his first restaurant, Luigi’s, in Germantown. Later, he opened a Marabells’s in Atlantic City, the Vernon Shop in Germantown and the Capri. HE ENCOURAGED his three sons to work in other fields. His son Angefo was a teacher, Louis owned a

computer firm and Gabriel Jr, was id insurance until I960, when with the help of his two brothers he opened Gabriel’s Horn in Academy House in Philadelphia. Mr. Marabella is survived by his wife, Michaelina; a daughter, Anna Marie Raimondo; his three sons; six grandchildren, two brothers and a sister. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated June 9 in Our Mother of Consolation Church in Chestnut Hill. Burial was Thursday in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

RIO GRANDE - The Hosanna singing group from the Philadelphia College of the Bible will give a concert 7:30 p.m. tomorrow, June 17, at the Bible Church here. ■ K The church will also hold a Father and Son dinner 6:30 p.m. June 18, and a

teen concert and, swimming party June 19. Pastor Robert Fox will preach on What is a Father? at the 11 a.m. service Sunday and on God the Father at 7:30 p.m.
