Report Due On Storm Hazards

AVALON - Mrs Yvonne Ballenger. chairman of the borough Environmental Commission, has announced that a Post Storm Report will be hand delivered to every home in Avalon. The report describes in detail present stornv hazards and possible solutions, with recommendations by experts in the field of coastal management. THE REPORTS will be delivered by members of the Environmental Commission with the help of volunteers from the Women's Civic Club, the Garden Club and other interested resident^,^ including Girl Scouts./

The Environmental Commission sponsored this report in part, resulting in "a grant from the New Jersey Department of En^virortroental Protection Division of Coastal VjRqsouroes The report has neelHt/progress for about a )£*r. using Avalon as a "model" for the coast of New Jersey. Anyone having questions about the report should attend the commission

meetings 7:30 p.m. July 7 and Aug. 4 in the Borough Hall Council Meeting Room. After the delivery, copies of the report can be obtained at the Boro Hall, Mondays through Fridays.
