COURT HOUSE - The second phase of the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital $1.5 million fund drive is underway, according to campaign chairman Robert J. CAPE MAY - During June, traffic on the Cape May-Lewes Ferry decreased by 265 vehicles and 3,366 passengers from June, 1981. These statistics were made public by David S. Chapman, General Manager of the Cape MayLewes Ferry. FERRY TRAFFIC for June, 1982, was 28,544 vehicles and 98,365 passengers compared to 28,809 vehicles and 101,731 passengers for June, 1981, a decrease of 92 percent for vehicles and 3.31 percent for passengers. For the 12-month period ended June 30, traffic was 254,346 vehicles and 774,784 passengers compared to 243,098 vehicles and 742,816 passengers for the 12-month period ended June 30, 1981, an increase of 4.63 percent for vehicles

Miller, director, announced the impending retirement of Theodore C. Bright, who will be leaving the authority July 30. Bright served as a commissioner of the authority from 1963tol965.
