Mark 50th Anniversary GOSHEN - Local residents Wesley and Gertrude Valley celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary July 22 and were honored at a gathering of family and friends July 24 by their children. The Valleleys have lived here since 1948. Wesley is retired from a construction company in Cherry Hill. Gertrude is a former employee of Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital Both have been active in the AARP/NRTA and the Goshen United Methodist Church. They have six children, Wesley Jr. and Ruth Shaw, of Goshen; John of Acton, Mass.; Joan Lord and Carol Murnaghan of Court House, and Paul of Roslyn, Pa. They have 14 grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren. Deborah Jones Engagement

The engagement of their daughter, Deborah Ann Jones, to Robert James Hodsdon has been announced by Mrs. Eva Alberta Jones of Cold Spring and Douglas Allan Jones of Cape May. Miss Jones is a 1982 graduate of Lower Cape May Regional High School and is employed in Cape May. Mr. Hodsdon of Cold Spring, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William W. Hodsdon. He is a 1978 graduate of Lower Cape May High and js employed by the Lower Township Department ,of Public
