CAPE MAY. - Polkas, waltzes, oldies but gpodies, and stringband favorites are all part of the gala celebration by the Boardwalk/Beach Drive Merchants Association (BBDMA) 1-4 p.m. Saturday.

The BBDMA plans to present the famous Hoffnagle Band on the steps of Convention Hall. The band, based in Wildwood, was enthusiastically received earlier this year at the Tulip Festival. The group is an off-shoot of the Hoffnagle Clown Family. Bob Hoffnagle promises to include Bobby Stango's ‘•Waltzing In Cape May" in the afternoon’s selections.
