By Florence Heal I was wondering what recipes I would share with you this week until I took a trip to my garden and saw the broccoli ready for harvest. Do you raise broccoli? If you do, most likely you, too, have plenty to freeze, share with neighbors and feed your family daily. Thinking of different ways to use the broccoli when it js so plentiful is a challenge. Broccoli is great raw in a salad or served with a dip for the cocktail hour. Broccoli is also good in quiches and other main dishes. I will start first with how I use left over

cooked broccoli. If all I cook is not eaten for dinner or lunch I will put the broccoli in a blender with one cup milk, salt & pepper (amount depending on the family taste and amount of broccoli) two tablespoons of flour. Blend these together and add two tablespoons butter, and heat. This makes a delicious soup. Broccoli is a part of Chicken Divan that most people enjoy. CHICKEN DIVAN / bunch /reah broccoli or 2 pkgs. frozen broccoli spears 2 cups sliced cooked chicken 2 cans cream of mushroom or chicken soup
