COLD SPRING - HISTORIC COLD,SPRING VILLAGE, where historic heritage is preserved and tradition lingers, on will have an illustrious guest return to portray the work day of colonial' women. Dorothea Connolly, a popular feature at Cold Spring Village earlier this summer, will be at The Village over the three-day Labor Day weekend. A well-informed historian, Mrs. Connolly
was the star of a ten-part “Fireside Kitchen" on New Jersey Television. This informative, and entertaining, series was later acquired by the Eastern Educational Network and was aired from coast to coast. "Fireside Kitchen" was carefully researched. ' Each of the 10 segments were, filmed in different historically interesting and important locations. Some of those settings included Washington Crossing Pa.;
Dey mansion in Wayne, N.J.; Waterloo Village, N.J.; and.the Nicholas Gibbon House in Greenwich. N.J. MRS. CONNOLLY will be at Historic Cold Spring Village on Saturday, Sunday .and Monday, September 4,5 and 6. There ' is no admission charge to The Village, or her demonstrations; and parking is free. The Village is a restoration typical of a South
Jersey rural community and contains 13 historic 18th and 19th century buildings which have, with one exception been moved from throughout Cape May County. The Village and craft shops will be open daily through September Historic Cold Spring Village, near the Old Brick Presbyterian Church and Cemetery on Seashore Road, north of the Seashore Road-Ferry Road intersection.

JACKSON - Two of the main attractions at the 1982 New Jersey State Fair will be the dairy goat and rabbit competitions. Winning the goat and rabbit competitions will enhance the value of the animals in the marketplace. Goats are evaluated on appearance, health, strength, and milk production. Rabbits are scrutinized for the texture of their fur. ear size, the health of their teeth and measurement from foot to
