Married 60 Years

S. SEAVILLE - An "open house" was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Sessamen of 649 Kings Hwy ., who celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. Surrounded by nearly 100 friends and relatives, in; eluding several from California and Louisiana, the couple enjoyed a luncheon prepared by members of the family arid a three-tier cake. They received many gifts. The Sessamen’s were t also pleasantly surprised by a congratulatory letter from President Reagan. The’ couple, natives of Havre de .Grace, Md., mar- . ried there before moving to Green Creek, where they , resided for many years. SESSAMEN WAS a building contractor from 1940 through 1970. Upon retirement the couple purchased their present home in South Seaville. They are the parents of four'children, Evelyn Lund of Erma, Gene of Lambertville, Raymond of Louisiana and Donald from the San Francisco area. There are 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Garden Club STONE HARBOR - The Garden Club held the first meeting of the new season Monday, Sept. 13. Guest speaker was Mrs. Clare Gray, whose subject was preparations for a flower show.
