OCTOBER 6 is the "Luncheon Is Served" fundraiser by the Cape May Rescue Squad Auxiliary at noon at the Paris’h Hall of Our Lady Star of the Sea.' The cost is $3.50 per person. Mary Dollinger is chairperson and she promises prises, good fdod and fun, too! This is always a sell-out as tickets are limited, so watch here for where to get yours. THEN THERE’S the Victorian Weekend! of planned activities staring Oct. 8 and continuing to Oct. 11. Fred Kuhner, who was MAC’S first president, is chairperson for the entire weekend and along with all the other planned programs. Kuhner is adding something very special this year. A "Victorian Dinner Hop" at the Colonial Hotel on Saturday evening, Oct. 9 where you’ll be able to enjoy an exceptional dinner along with great entrertainment which will include the H.B. Smith Cornet Band featuring a singer and a Dixieland Band. Bar opens at 7 PM Reservations are'now being taken by the MAC office at 884-5404 at $20 person. OTHER INTERESTING specialities include a lecture on Victorian data by Charles Miller on Sunday afternoon at 4:30; It’s entitled "Victorian Decor and Decorum" and will be held at the Cape Island Baptist Church Hall. On Friday evening will be held a slide show at the Welcome Center, Lafayette and Bank Streets at 9 PM, by Sue Learning.
