STONE HARBOR - The Women’s Civic Club, its president, Mrs. Dottie Stump, its officers, the board of directors and the 165 members are pondering how to celebrate a 70th birthday. The club was incorporated in 1913, one year before the borough was incorporated. There is no other organization in town as did as the Civic Club, so there arc no guidelines to help the group on how to celebrate the birthday. THE Y/UMIT CLUB recently celebrated its 50th anniversary; the American Legion Post isflfi years old; the Realty Owners group was started 31 years ago, as was the Lions Club; the Chafhberof Commerce will be 43 years old, while.the borough will be 69 years old.
