STREET LINES are be ing painted throughout the city, and all missing street name signs will be replaced. Hughes Street, which is normally very dark because street lamps are low, will have brighter lights installed. The street cleaning machine is once again back in service and you’ll be noticing many being ‘‘spruced up.” Convention Hall is also in the city’s future plans. It’ll be Victorianized as soon as is financially feasible. Most of all, once again speeders, the fines will be TRIPLED, advises the Mayor. That does call for a lot of concentration when* driving.
