Starring On “Talent Workshop’

WILDWOOD — A new television show entitled Talent Workshop premiered on Group W Cable Channel 2 Friday, Oct. 8, and will air every Friday at 7:30 p.m. and Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. The show is produced by Priscilla Parker, Director of South Jersey School of Baton and Dance, in Ocean City, and directed by Bob Lund. Talent from various parts of South Jersey appear on th^show weekly. The show isfun alrpost entirely by the young people who perform, interview special guests, introduce the acts, and chat with the young people appearing on the workshop.

hostess on the show is Rita Willis, a .17-year-old honorr o11 student and cheerleader at Middle Township Hign School. She has appeared «n productions at Gateway Theatre, Bally Casino, and in local telethons and siiows

throughout the area. Rita is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Barry Willis of Rio Grande and a dance student of Roberta Hansberry in Northfield. Young people wishing to appear on the show are asked to call 399-7065.

Gryning Leidy HEATHER GRYNING. a 7-year-old second grader from Cape May, is a star hostess of Talent Workshop. She appeared at the Gateway Theatre as Gretel in the Sound of Music and was recently featured, singing in the Miss America Parade and the Ocean City Baby Parade on the Talent Workshop float. During Pageant week, she h osted the Salute to Miss America Show given annually at Share Mall for the parents ‘or? the Miss America ^ntestants. Heather is thtfldaughter of Mr. and MR. Edward Gryning of Cdpe May. SHERRI LEIDY. 7, from North Cape May, is another star on the workshop. She - appeared in the movie Striking Back with Michael Sarisen and was recently selected as Molly in the touring company of Annie. Sherri is Lhe daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Leidy.
