Warm gloves j.re making their re-appearances. Along with sweaters, parkas and warm ctffjs. THK KIDS are starting to think Halloween. And bugging their moms about costumes We like to take rides (hrough the countryside and through town to observe the fall displays many households put out on steps and porches. Groupings of pumpkins and gourds and other regalia of the season. The mums are a colorful sight in gardens, planted about lamposts and walkways. The youngsters came to us the other day and said we ought to be making a checklist of things that have to be done before the snow flies and Santa wings in here. Things like baking pumpkin pies, and starting cookie batches — and of course, getting some Christmas shopping done. Lea've it to the kids to start thinking Christmas well ahead of -time.
