LOWER TOWNSHIP A special honor is being paid to the Lower Township. Moose. The 59th annual N. J. State Moose Conventidn will be kicked off with a Function Class Enrollment. Thursday Nov. 4. in Lower Township to coincide with the start of the convention in Atlantic City. Moosehart Governor Frank L Buchler, College Park. Maryland will be honored at this Convention Class Enrollment. Lower Township has been singled out for this honor by placing no. 1 in the state for New Membership Quota for two successive years. They have also placed second in the U.S.A. in membership quota this year. Robert Nickerson, secretary, of Lower Township Lodge, personally placed in the top 10 in the O. S. for securing new memberships. The Lower Township Moose in 20 months has grown from 126 members to just under 1,000. The convention enrollment also will be for -the district and be held at the Erma Fire Hall. APPROXIMATELY 150 members will take.part in the class from lodges in Lower Township.
