Time Out , Dining Guide — . l • HERE WE- ARE getting close to the middle of November. Week by week since early October we have watched Nature's changes as living hlngsiout-of-doors and we indoors get ready for winter. Most of the trees and bushes are.nov clean as a whistle, not a leaf left on them. Their seeds are all ripe and the recent high winds have sent them'flying. Other seeds are tucked away in beautiful fruits, and now that the leaves are nearly all off, we can see these fruits better. Some of these fruits are white, some red, some yellow, and some are dark blue. Here they will hang until the birds find them on those cold days in winter when they want good food. Speaking of good food, a lot of homemakers are planning and charting the Thanksgiving table—and the family get togethers. Takes a lot of organization nowadays to get far'tlown families together. • 4 • Tomorrow is Veteran Day, and always, the occasion is honored with commemorations. The public schools will be giving students a long weekend off—and some families use the coming stretch of free days to take a short trip, even a long trip for those able to do it. To thoR« who tend to be a little" tardy in making plans, we just wont to remind them that Thanksgiving is two weeks from tomorrow. Did you hear that?. THANKSGIVING AT IIENNY’S. There will be a special Thanksgiving menu at Henny's which includes all the traditional fixings. For years, families have been making holiday reservations at Henny's 97th & Third Avenue, Stone Harbor to insure a successful family get together. Remember, too, Henny's close for a well edhied rest right after the Thanksgiving weekend until December 30th, when the doors swing open again for New Years parties. To make reservations for Thanksgivime and New Year's Eve.
