Then on the first Middle possession Gihorski threw a 15 yard TD pass to end Steve McKaig to give his team an 18-h lead. Brown picked off a Hammonton pass and the 6-3. 215 pound defensive end sped unmolested for 82 yards into touchdown territory as time ran out. The entire Middle Township team ran out on the field to congratulate him and an official threw a penalty flag on the ground. It meant nothing, however, as pandemonium broke loose The officials decided to call off the extra point attempt, too. Palmer was the running star of the game, rushing for 104 yards in 30 carries. Gihorski, who had two interceptions. completed six passes for 92 yards. Middle is now 5-2 overall and 5-1 in the league.
