IT’S THANKSGIVING time, a time to give thanks for all we have ... • • • ALSO time to begin thinking of Christmas. II errand there Christmas Bazaars are about. There’s one starting November 26 and continuing to Nov. 27 3t Nie Cape May County Art League in the Carriage House' of the Physick Estate. It will be •open 10 a m. to 4:30 p.m. each day. . There’ll be original, hand-crafted items in: eluding hand-dipped-candles, miniature lead sbldiers, toys, calico handcrafts, articles fashioned from stained glass and burned wood, herb wreaths and silk and dried flower arrangements. Craftsmen have been assigned space on the first and second floor galleries to display their wares. • • a MONTH of Dec. has lots in store Dec. 4 is the West Cape May Christmas Parade at 7 p.m. This is a tradition and draws crowds from far'and wide. Santa is on hand for the kiddies.

DEC. 11 is a day that’s going to lx? exciting from & a m. to 11 p.m First, the Cape May Rescue Squad Auxiliary will hold its annual Christmas Bazaar and Bake Sale on the Mall in Casale’.s Shoe Rack.

Everyone knows the delicious baking these ladies can do, and many get all their holiday baking needs right there. Some even ordering in advance. There’ll be pies, cookies, cakes, pizzelles, and even some homemade, soup. In addition there’ll be a white elephant table, and plenty of handmade gift items. Make it a point to stop in. All proceeds go towards equipment for our Cope May Rescue Squad. a a a IN the evening. of the same day, Dec. li, there’ll be a Turkey Trot homecooked turkey dinner sponsored by f»e Alter and Rosary Soci<$y of Our Lady Star of the Sea. It begins at 5 p.m. in the Parish Hall on Ocean St. ’ * There’ll be cake and coffee, too. Dancing from 7 p,m. to 11 p.m. with A1 Marshall at the cordqvpx. All for just 16 per person.
