program. The latest addition to the club, situated just off the Garden State Parkway and accessible via Crest Haven Road, is something for the kickers -- the soccer kickertf, that is. It is an indoor soccer program that is attracting hundreds of players in fonjiahand informal play. Operable since November 1, the indoor soccer field was converted from large • tennis courts and now serves as the home of the South JerseyLeague. Jerry Matu Farlahe, who played soccer in Scotland, was the catalyst for establishing the league there and for the conversion of the facility into a soccer field. •We believe this is the only indoor soccer field of its kind in South Jersey,” said Roni Zane of Avalon, club manager and a tennis player. The adult league, which plays its games on Sunday morning and Monday night, has eight teams with such names as the Philly Blue Bells, the Dennlsvillc Sting and the Cape May Celtics. Other teams include the Ocean City Yacht. Resorts I and Resorts II. Lower Express and Atlantic City. They are scheduled to play through May. Last weekend the club housed a junior tournament for area high school students and it also makes its field available for those who want to play in a less competitive atmosphere. The swingers are the tennis players and they still have plenty of room in the spacious building. There are three indoor courts •available and. when the weather warms up, four outdoor counts may be used. The racquet club has two tennis pros, George Ca'de and Bruce Worth. . For those who like to lift the club has 13 Nautilus

machines. It has exercise classes for women on Wednesday, Monday and Friday nights. A massage practitioner is available and the facility includes a tanning booth and showers. When the weather is bad, joggers may avail .themselves of the soccer field when it is not in use.
