WILDWOOD - The Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce Nov. 12 elected local businessman Robert Bowman as its president for 1983. WILDWOOD - New Jersey.'* automotive retailers are looking forward to a rebound in 1983 model sales fueled by declining interest rates and a pent-up demand for new cars. That’s the prediction of Raymond M. Burke, III, vice president and general manager of Burhe Motor

Sales of Wildwood, who recently was named' Secretary of the N.J Automobile Dealers Assn. Burke was elected October 31 at the group's annual convention in Puerto Rico. According to the SE?crfetary, a recent national survey of new car dealers found that sales of 1983 and leftover 1982 models show a slow but definite increase over the same period a year ago. Specialty models, larger cars and trucks appear to ■UH

season. If interest rates continue to fall, dealers can expect stronger sales in 1983 then they’ve had in the past several years, Burke said. Burke, 29. is a 1975 graduate of I*afayette College, Easton, Pa., and at tended the Chevrolet Dealer Sons school in 1976. He is a past director of the Cape May County and Greater Wildwood Chambers of Commerce, a/id is president of- the Alumni Corporation of the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity at
