CAPE MAY - The league leaders in both men’s and women’s volleyball competition showed their stuff again last week, taking their respective matches one-two-three. In men’s action, Whipporwill Campground's Stick Faragher was a mean spiker as he spiked those balls so close to the line it was impossible for the Slammers to do anything about them. Rick Hall and Frank Jansson were also a driving force for Whipporwill. Shep Taylor, Bruce Britton & Bill Holt were a trio that tried hard, but the match still ended vyhipporwill, 15-9, 15-3 and 15-0. GLORIA’S did not let last week’s defeat dampen their spirits, John Wilsey excelled in all phases of the game and Stormin' Norman saved numerous plays ' as he dove after those low balls. All-of Gloria's boys were in tip top shape and they took their opponents, Buck's Electric. 15-7, 16-14 and 15-il. Pete Kakoyannis, Bruce Pritchard and Mike Dodsworth played hard for Slarrimers but to no avail. THE THIRD game of the evening wasn’t a total shutout 8s Library III managed to win at least one game of the match against Roth's Candyland. Dexter Fauncc setting and Andy Butler spiking allowed Library the first game in their favor, but then Roth's Stu Cohen and Joe Halicz with their spik- • ing, setting and serving took the last ‘two g^peS, although the Library jdid put up a fight. Final soare of this match, 8-15, 16-14 & 18-16 in favor of Roth’s.

THE FIRST game of (he evening for the ladies had the Kona girls agair&Vthc C-Yiew. Kona's Dee Sciarra, Nancy LeClerk and Lisa Marcalango broke right through C-View’s defense and took the match 15-5, 15-7 & 14-16. Lynn Massimjano was responsible for'a few of C-View's points as she has developed her serving ability and Lois Soffe and Vickie Biedierman were all around good players. Roth’s Candyladics are just unstoppable as they again took their match 3-6 against Vances. LIZ FARANER. Marlene Mediuch and .Sue McKee have just perfected all aspects of volleyball play and helped lead Roth’s to a 15-8, 15-0 and 15-1 victory Anna Willjams saved a few of Vance's balls from the ceiling, and Elena Bennick helped whenever possible Needlers III and Guarantee Bank went at it at the net hut the Needlers

took the money and ran. Needlers Debbie Palmer, Lu Ann Rucci & Grace Krog just would not stop until the third match when they had taken all 3 games, 15-2, 15-3 & 15-3. GuaranteVs'Joan McMahon, Gina Cardaci & Margie Gilmartin put in alot of effort for their team ^DeKE LCD'S Rich Hawley, Dennis Kelly & Chris Kelly were on their toes Friday & the Salty Dogs showed up for their game, but were out of practice and DeKelco won all 3 games 15-6, 15-10 and 15-2. Lou Joyce and Cy Cummings played well for the Sal-

ty Dogs.

U.S.C.G.* Air Stations limitless team lost their first game against Cape May Exxon but then rallied to take the last 2 games-of the match. Randy Lee and Paul Huber aided in USCG’s win while Exxon's Buddy Eckel and Rick Hoff helped in the first game
