LOCAL GAI-S don't seem to mind getting "blissed" by local movie star Jack O'llalloran who has been enjoying an extended visit to his home. O’Halloran is well remembered - as a villian in the recent Christopher Reeve “Superman" movies and is due in Arizona to star with Robert Mitchum. Many ex-local school mates have been enjoying reunions with their famous ex-classmate ■" CENTERlISLAND Wildwood burglaries reportedly ai« averaging five to six dailt. Help your police* friends*and absent neighbors by reporting any suspicious activity. SION ON Moose Lodge parking lot, North Wildwood: MOOSE PARK; INGONLY. Most boardwalk concessions and locations are leased or owned by out-of-state promoters and there is sometimes a wait of 10 or 20 years to snare one. Therefore, it’s almost a “Believe It Or Not” when a boardwalk stand goes up “for sale." The mind- . boggling, seldom-seen sign appears at 3906 near Spencer on the Boardwalk. WILDWOOD beach medic Stan Sokolis and his wife, Irene, are rejoicing over their first grandchild, a boy born to Mr. and Mrs. Jim Mally. Sokolis was an ex'-lifeguard and policeman as well as a pro wrestler for

nine years. Always, identified with sports, he was football captain at the University ST^ennsylvania and a prominent staffer’at LaSalle College for many years. * ALTHOUGH Dave Problnsky started the casino boom by introducing Resorts international to Atlantic City, he still prefers to live in the' Wildwoods. However, he and his wife. Marci, will spend a few months in South America where he will present casino gambling proposals to five countries. Their tour starts in Rio De Janiero. Their son, Brent, is an international attorney. • • • A LOVELY addition to the Urie's Pegleg Parrot Lounge staff is barperson Marianne ••Butch” Majeski. Her former stints include Henry's and the Fun Spot. Her late father, Joe Majeski, a well-known pro ( wrestler,«lso'tended bar in Wildwood for some 40 years at such spots as Werner's, the Riptide and Fairview. Urie’s has added a dance floor and candlelit tables to the lounge along with New York entertainer Rick Stafford. • • • 1 VOCAL LAD Tom Clock is now one of South Philly's most successful disc jockies. His calling cards read, "Call Glocky, your Disc Jockey."

CREST FOLKS saddened by the news from Florida that long time Sunset Lake colonist Clarence Heyde passed away. Mr. Heyde was one of the major domos of the national shoewear industry. MICKY LONGSHORE, a beer truck driver and .bartender at Grande’s, ftill be hospitalized until February after a serious auto accident in thd Quaker City. NEIL SEDAKA has sent copies of his autobiography, "Laughter In the Rain," to Wildwood area friends. Sedaka appeared at Stew Serody’s Club Rainbow when he had his first hit record. His most recent visit was for a Hof Brau luncheon as a respite from piloting his yacht up the Atlantic Seaboard. Sedaka’s roller coaster career started when he turned out hits as a 15-year-old. * THE BOOK "Choirboys'.’ has been a source of enjoyment to local policemen. North Wildwood’s Jake Stevenson, a just-wed, has been issuing T-shirts hnd jacket^ for area police since i978 with a "Choirboys” theme. Policemen all over the Delaware Valley sport these jackets since many are graduates of isla/fa summer police forces and they return here often for vacations and weekends.
