Will it be a cold winter? Or will it be a mild winter? While Mother Nature makes up her mind, we will just have to wait and see. Nevertheless, we do know one thing Christmas is coming. We predict it’ll be here on December 25th-and if you haven’t started the Christmas shopping, we predict you’re going to be in a dither sooner of later. • '

Enough predictions for now. These short, thort days of December are followed by the long, long nights. If you’re a night person, December is prime time for jjbu. But, alas, if you’re a day person, December’s da$| are 'all to fleeting. Do you ever have the feeling that you wake up in darkness arid before you turn around, night is closing in again? But, while the daylight shuts down early in December, It is also on the rise again by late December. The shortest day of the year, (December 21st), also signals a changeabout is occuring — when the daylight starts to in/ crease again late this month. As we wend our way through December, we love to schedule a few trips to look at Christmas lights. Seems that Cape May County has the prettiest ways of decorating. Take a trip for yourself some night soon and see if you don’t agree. Here, too, are some suggestions for restaurant visits: KlISvSO’S—Open All Year. No matter, what the season, Russo’s at 4415 Park Blvd., Wildwood keeps its doors open, preparing a year long array of tempting foods. Dinners are served from 5 to 9 daily, Friday & Saturday from 5 to 9:30. There are appetizing specials that only a true Italian-style restaurant can create. Enjoy some of the best Italian food available.locally at Russo's familyoriented restaurant. Foods are hortiemade from the finest ingredients with A sprinkle here and there of Italian seasoning. Finest quality always. CAPT’N ARAB’S—WELCOMING. The traditions of excellence continue throughout the seasons at Capt’N Ahaks, on Route 47 (Wildwood'Blvd.) between Rl. 9 & Garden State Parkway, Rio Grande. The fabulous dishes are moderately priced and are appealing to even the heartiest appetites. The Captain and His Mate (Franh & Jane Bonner) are well known/or their mastery of the art of making people feel welfctftne. The chef backs up the welcome with fresh seafAl, superb specials and an assortment of mouthwateringjdesserts. You are invited to inquire about reserving CapW Ahab’s tor Christmas parties.
