TRENTON - “If you drink and then drive there ift a good chance you'll find yourself in handcuffs." * says Clifford W. Snedeker, Director of the New Jersey Division of Motor Vehicles. By the end of 1982, approximately 30,000 drunk drivers Will have been ar rested* in New Jersey. Many of the arrests were as a result of the Drunk Driver Overtime Patrol Program grants funded through the Division of Motor Vehicles' ptfice of Highway Safety. ’ A For the past fe^months, the Office of HighvAy Safety has been prodwing, in association with the New Jersey Broadcasting Network, the film. "The Safety Connection — Drunk’Driving” The television program. which depicts the many ramifications that result from being arrested for driving after drinking, is to be televised 6:30 p.m. Dec. 23 and 30 on the New Jersey Broadcasting Network stations. 23, 50, 52, and 58.
