Heating Benefits Available

PLEASANTVILLE - Applications are now being accepted for two state programs offering winter heating benefits for lowincome individuals, families, and senior citizens. * Lifelong provides a credit of $175 to utility customers over 65 years of age with individual incomes less than $12,000, or joint incomes less than $15,000. THE HOME ENERGY Assistance Program (HEAP) will provide an estimated $65 million in benefits this year for an average of $290 per household. Maximum eligibility incomes for the program range from $487 per month for individuals to $1,292 for a family of six The application deadlines are March 31 for HEAP and Jan 31 lor Lifeline For applications

Ethel Budrauff and Marion Glaspey All members will serve for one year Sheriff Aide Is Employee Of Month COURT HOUSE - Sheriff Beech N Fox announced the recent selection of Sheriff's Officer Mary DiPasquale as employee of the month for December, at the County Correctional Center. Mary DiPasquale was born in Camden -and graduated from Camden High School She has been a resident of Cape May County for the past 35 years Mrs DiPasquale resides here with her husband of 44 years, Leonard N DiPasquale They are the parents of three children, two daughters who live in the area, and one son who lives in Wilmingtyn. applications to customers who have identified themselves as senior citizens, according to Paul Liepe, manager of customer services for the local utility. LIEPE ALSO urged the elderly to take advantage of the company's third par ty notification system by supplying the name and number of a friend or relative the utility can call when service to the elderly customer could be affected. For further information on third party notification, special telephone notification services for senior citizens, and other programs, customers can call the Atlantic Electric business office at 800-642-3780
