Kiwanis Tops Peewee Play CAPE MAY - In Peewee Basketball Jan. 22, Casale’s defeated Atlas 8-2. Scott Holden was high scorer for Oa.sale's with four points followed by Gary Locas with two points. Pat Dwyer was excellent on defense. Tom Johnson was a hot player for Atlas, scoring two points. Cape May Kiwanis Gub oulscored Model Geanere 28-10. Matt McGaffney and Brad Vodges each had 10 points for Kiwanis with Antwone Harris and Kevin Peterson leading a hand in defense. IN MIDGET Basketball Brendan Conners of Atlas scored 21 points, but Casale's had the better team that day and defeated Atlas 65-27. Steve Perry put fa) 18 for Casale's and Bob Lundholm 19. The dynamic trio of Barry Wise, Scott Ridgeway and Joe Mendo never wavere^ as they scored 22, 14 and 8 points, respectively, to lead Kiwanis to a 47-26 victory over Model Cleaners. STANDINGS W L

COURT HOUSE - Anglers from six states shared 77 prizes in the 1982 County Fishing Tournament wlTich closed Dec. 31, according to Freeholder Anthony T. Catanoso, who directs the annual fishing contest. The contest is now in its 48th year,'making it one of the oldest fishing contests along the Eastern Seaboard It is sponsored annually by the Board of Freeholders. NEW JERSEY anglers cbpped 48 prizes in the year long event while Pennsylvania fishermen took 26 prizes. Anglers from New York, Delaware, Illinois and California also won fishing reels. Contestants will be notified of their awards and will receive their prizes in the mail. There was one state record possibility recorded in the more than 30 categories of fish in which entries were received. Al Bednarik of Philadelphia Ribbons Won By Swimmers WILDWOOD CREST - The Crest Dolphins swim team came away with 30 first-place ribbons against the Pennsgrove Dolphins at Pennsgrove Saturday, Jan. 22.
