TOWN BANK - Sharon Lyn Jordan. 10. daughter of Mr. and Mrs James Jordan. 300 Bayweod Dr., has been selected as a state finalist for the third annual Miss New Jersey National Pre-Teen Pageant, to be held in Bridgewater May 14. , Sharon, a fifth grade student at Lower Township Consolidated School,

toured for a year as "Pepper” in the Third National Co. of Annie, and has made numerous TV appearances^ including the Nationalof Dimes and caimr telethons. Her hobbies include pinging, gymnastics, dancing and collecting dolls. Sharon is sponsored in the contest by Jerry’s School of Gymnastics, Eckel Marina and Evoy Funeral Home.

Ihe making of chainmfiil and a demonstration of fighting techniques are planned for the Fair. In addition to the historical aspects of research and recreation the SCA attempts to embody the ideals found in medieval romances: chivalry, courtesy, honor and graciousness.
