Youngsters’ Wrestling
ERMA — The Lower Township and Cape May Recreation Departments will sponsor a wrestling program for Kindergarten through 6th grades on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, starting tomorrow This program will be under the direction of William Porter with the wrestling teams from both Teitelman and the High School assisting them Playoffs On In Volleyball CAPE MAY - The City Women's Volleyball league began playoff action this past Wednesdaywith the top four teams of the regular season, Roth's Candyland. Needlers III, Kona Sports and Guarantee Hank battling it out for first, second and third place championships The C-View Inn and Vance’s Bar did not make it into the playoffs. Roth's Candyland played Guarantee Bank in a game which gave Roth’s a ticket in the winner's circle and a chance for first place Guarantee will play the consolation game for third place In the Kona Sports - Needlers, III game, Needlers defeated Kona and advanced to the winners circle, where they will play Roth's for first place 8 p.m. today Kona Sports challenges Guarantee Bank for third place at 7 p.m.
Registration for both the Pee Wee and Midget Wrcstlers/WR'l' Ik* held 6 p.m tomorrow at the Teitelhian School. All par ticipants should be accompanied by an adult
Kellie's Wins In Hoekey
CAPE MAY - The City Hockey Junior league got back into action after a brief intermission, with Keltic News defeating Dellas Stores 4-3. John DeCamillo scored three goals for Keltic's and Matt Knotch had 1 Jim Kelly and Chris Corbett each scored for Dellas. Behind the lone goal of Ed Kane, the Cape May Volunteer Fire Co., scored a 1-0 victory over the C View Inn Quinnr Corbett, who was not playing goalie this week, did an outstanding job on defense for the Fire Company. IN THE SENIOR League, Keltic News over powered Dellas Stores in a 5-2 victory. Kevin Peterson and Jon Axelsson were instrumental for the Kellie's win. The Cape May Volunteer Fire Co. team bowed to CView The C-Views Dave Lindsey, Paul Kronin and Jim McBride held onto the game by scoring in all three periods to add a 3-2 victory to their standings
