CAPE MAY - The CView Inn clinched first place after regular season play of the Junior Street Hockey League by blanking Keltic's News Agency 4-0. Tod Schoffler and Kurt Hughes tallied two goals each to pace C-View. C-View edged out the Cape May Volunteer Fire Co. by one point in the final regular season standings. The Fire Co., in its regular season finale, were tied 0-0 by Dellas Stores. Playoff action begins next week with games played 6 p.m. Monday. Wednesday and Thursday in Convention Hall. IN THE SENIOR League, Kellie's News Agency completed its regular season campaign unbeaten at 7-0-2 to clinch the regular season cham pionship by shutting out CView Inn 2-0. 7th Bowler In 700 Club

By JOHN RYAN This week’s scoring at Wildwood Bowl saw Pete Cuddhy, of Court House, become the seventh bowler to join the 700 club this season. Bowling with the Monday night Sociables. Cuddhy combined games of 225, 231 and 246 for a 702 series. Cuddhy’s 700 increases the possibility that the Bowl’s 700 club may yet reach double digits before the season’s end. Bowling with the Tues day Night Men, Tom Martino. of North Wildwood, rolled 224, 234 and 214 games for a 672 series Pete Cuddhy followed with games of 206. 200 and 237for a 643 along with Krn Howell, of Wildwood, who hit 201. 222 and 203 for a 626 series. ALSO, IN the Tuesday Night Men's league. Ray Mooney, of North Cape May. stayed in form with games of 265, 227 and 223 for a 715 series Ray flirted with his sixth 300 by rolling nine straight strikes before getting a split in the tenth frame of his 265 game Rounding out the scoring, Del Clark, of the Villas, had a 648 series in Sunday night Brand X action on games of 201, 223, and 224.

SEA ISLE CITY - The Men's Basketball League saw Pat's Market retain sole possession of first place by defeating Pfeiffer's 81 to 71 Wednesday. Feb. 23. Jim McClory had another very good game with 21 points. He was followed by John DeI.eonr (15) and Harry Vanderslice (13). The key to the contest, though, was Pat's defensive play, which they have shown all year long. FOR PFEIFFER'S. Steve Hartley had his normal fine game with 20 points, but Mike Mullen seemed to have found a weakness in Pat's middle, scoring 20 points of his own In the make-up game. M&F's bid for its second victory in a row was denied by Cape Insurance, 77 to 68 Again, M&F got itself in

early foul trouble with no bench support and had to play conservatively. Cape Insurance almost gave the game away by committing sotm* key turnovers late in the game, but held on to win For Capr* Insurance. Tom Roadside and Mike Wolicki each had 20 points, following by Ed Mansell <13> and Jim I.ingerfield (10) Rich Pass led M&F with 19 points, followed by Bob Milano (17).
