C-View. Inn, Fire Co. in Playoffs

CAPE MAY — Regular season action ended for both the Junior and Senior Youth Street Hockey leagues Thursday. Feb. 3. In junior league action CView Inn shut out Keltic's News 4-0 behind Ted Schoffler. Kurt Hughes and Karl Hughes to finish in first place after the regular season and earn the top seed in post-season playoffs. The Fire Company came in second after being tied 0-0 by Dellas Stores in a tough defensive battle The Junior playoffs got off to a furious start as topseeded C-View Inn eliminated Dellas Stores 2-0 and 5-4 (overtime) to gain a berth in the cham pionship The winners were led by the Hughes twins — Kurt and Karl, David Farina and Jim Kelly The Fire Company eliminated fellie s News Agency 5-1 and 3-0 as Jessie Metsinger and Ed Kane paced the 'Firemen' with thpir consistent scoring. Matt Notch played exceptionally well for Keltic's News. The Fire Company will now meet C-View Inn in the Junior League Playoff finals to determine the league champion The Senior Youth Hockey League concluded their regular season with a pair of games. Keltic's News completed an undefeated regular season by dropping the C-View Inn 2-0. Mike Cronin and Jon Axelsson scored for Keltic's. Dellas Stores also was victorious in the season finale 2-0 over the Fire
Company. Dave Zimmerman and Chris Kane tallied goals for Dellas. The Senior playoffs saw the Fire Company and Dellas Stores split the first two games of their best of three series. Dellas snared game one. •5-1 as a result of the prolific scoring of David Zimmerman (3 goals). On the verge of extinction the Fire Company bat-
tled back to even the series with a 4-3 victory Jeffrey Ruddy and Jay YVexler slapped in two goals each to force the third and deciding game. The winner will meet top seeded and unbeaten Kellie's News Agency, who swept C-View Inn in consecutive games 5-0 and 2-1 behind the fine play of Mike Cronin, Jon Axelsson, Scott Small and Kurt Peterson.
Whippoorwill, Gloria’s Win CAPE MAY — Whippoor will continued its dominance in the Power Volleyball league with a 3-0 sweep of the Slammers by scores of 15-11. 15-10. 15-1, Tom Swenk and Stick Farragher paced the league-leaders once again Gloria's Saloon defeated Buck's Electric 15-6, 12-15. 15-10 behind the solid play of Rill Arnold and Rick Ferrante.

Tod Schoffler and Kurt Hughes tallied two goals each to pace C-View. C-View edged out the Cape May Volunteer Fire Co by one point in the final regular season standings The Fire Co., in its regular season finale, was tied 0-0 by Dellas Stores KELTIE S NEWS Agency completed its regular season Senior Hockey League campaign unbeaten at 7-0-2 to clinch the regular season cham pionship by shutting out CView Inn 2-0. Mike Cronin and Jon AxHsmii rifled in goals for the champs. Dellas Stores surprised the Fire Co. 2-0 in the last game of the season behind the scores of Chris Kane and Dave Zimmerman. Standings.
