Cape May County residents played an important part in the success of the March 4-6 March of Dimes Telethon in Atlantic City, which raised $260,000 to help fight birth defects Talent was among these contributions, with solo performers from the 'Mini'’ Co.. • Apprentice" and the Joanne Regan Dancers of Cold Spring, taking part in the telethon at Resorts International Hotel Casino Parents of the children participating answered phones and received pledges Members of the "Apprentice" and "Mini" Co collected money before the telethon Through these and individual donations students were able to contribute $400 THE MIDDLE Township unit raised $700, the largest amount in township history, according to Madelyne Town, communi ty service representative for the March of Dimes.
