Parade To Open FT walk

THE WILDWOODS - Participants in this year’s Easter Parade will be able to keep time with the Wildwood String Band, according to Public Relations Director Vic Di Sylvester A unique tradition is being started that will see The Wildwoods' boardwalk officially opened with the string band leading the Easter Sunday, April 3, parade on the pnomenade around 12:30 p.m. The band will also give a special performance inside Convention Hall during the festivities. Mayor Guy F. Muziani will give a welcome and assist with awarding of prizes for the best dressed. Women from the Wildwood Civic Club under President Ruth Petschi will judge the fashions in the Easter Parade AWARDS WILL be given Seniors Plan Hal Parade •STONE HARBOR - Following an annual tradi tion, the Seniors will not meet tonight for their weekly fun night as this is the Wednesday of Holy Week The Wednesday follow mg Easter. April fi. the group will hold its annual Easter Hat Parade Prizes will Ik* awarded for the most original, comical and prettiest At the business meeting a guest speaker will talk on the history of the county and a nominating commit tee will Ik* announced to select officers for the following year

A great Easter Egg is being created by a local Brownee Troop setting up a background for kids' pic lures. The Ladies of The Wildwood Chapter Deborah Hospital will also take part The program is being coordinated by the Wildwoods Public Rela lions Department as the kick-off to the 1983 season —Open— House DIAS CREEK - The county Animal Welfare Society will hold spring open house 12-3 p m Satur day. April 16. at its shelter on Rte 47

The shelter has dogs, puppies, cats and kittens for adoption Refreshments will be served Donations of dog and cat food will be appreciated
