‘Spring Fling’ At Heritage
N. CAPE MAY - The student body of Heritage Christian Academy recently presented a "Spring Fling" for the parents and friends of the school. Opefting the program was the Kindergarten, taught by Miss Janet Wire. They presented an oldfashioned Easter Parade, featuring top hats and bonnets made in the classroom, to the tune of "Easter Parade" by Irving Berlin. THE FIRST GRADE, taught by Miss Sharon Finckc, presented songs and verses learned during the year, including several songs about Moses The Second and Third Grades, taught by Mrs. Ruth Field, presented a play called "The Gingerbread Boy”. They also performed several special musical selections, in eluding a girl’s trio and a violin solo. George Meadows, Fourth and Fifth Grade teacher, supervised a special "TV Newscast " It included news, weather, and sports coverage, several commercials and special musical numbers, as well as several small plays revolving around life in a school The Sixth and Seventh Grades, taught by Miss Carol Roberts, entertained the audience with commercial breaks between each class’s presentation.
