Contest On For Tulip Gardens
CAPE MAY - To celebrate the first day of spring, the Chamber of Commerce of Greater Cape May invites residents south of the canal to enter their gardens in the Tulip Garden Contest sponsored by tne city and the Chamber of Commerce. Already the leaves of tulip bulbs are poking above ground, and soon gardens throughout Greater Cape May will be ablaze with the bright colors of tulips. Tfib most attractive tulip gardens will be 1 judged April 22 as part of the Second Annual Captain Mey’s Tulip Festival commemorating Cape May's Dutch heritage.
