Walking To Help March

The March of Dimes is having a walkathon for Cape May County residents Saturday. April 23. in the Wildwoods All across the country on a single weekend people walk to raise money for the March of Dimes The money raised will be used in the fight against

birth defects which effect 250,000 babies each year Congressman William Hughes. Cape May County Walk Chairman, will kick off the walk promptly at 9 am STUDENTS FROM the 6th grade up and adults will ask people to sponsor them for every kilometer they

walk The walk is 30 kilometers, or approx imately 17 miles The walk will start and finish at the Information Bureau at Schellonger Ave on the boardwalk in Wildwood The route will go into North Wildwood and Wildwood ('rest The. pbhee departments from these

three towns planned the walk route for safety and convenience and each town is sending a car to patrol that day M OM, TIIF way there will bo checkpoints where the walkers can rest and enjoy refreshmbnts A pic nic lunch will l>o served at the end of the w alk All IimmI
