Deputy Commander Barndt was cited for his reorganization of the Group's Personnel Office and for the improvement in personnel morale. He was also responsible for the im plementation and in-house training of personnel on the new Coast Guard standard computer terminal By having all correspondence done on the computer ter mmal. a great saving of personnel, material and fil ing cost and time has been realized.
