MUA Rebuts Claim On Rate Hike Bid

SWAINTON Members of the County Municipal Utilities Authority reacted strongly to a published report that the New Jersey Water Co.’s request for a $5 2 million increase in its water and sewerage rates was in part due to "higher regional sewage treatment and disposal costs" in Ocean City.
