AVALON — Mary Grace Keen, vice president of the borough council and a council member since adoption of that form in 1979, is seeking re-election in, the municipal election next Tuesday, May 10 Progress Under the council form was cited by the candidate, including a cen* tral purchasing system, inventory control, safety measures for employees, the recycling program, and upgrading of the communication system. She also pointed to adoption of the administrative code, code of ethics, and building requirements for commercial property GOALS/ IF she is reelected [include rental regulation legislation, and maintaining zoning laws in conformance with the borough's master plan Mrs Keen has been a resident of the borough for 29 years and has raised four children She was formerly employed as tax collector for the City of Wildwood, and is bookkeeper-manager of Keen’s Pharmacy She is a member of the County League of Mimcipalities and the N J [Association of Elected Women Officials, and is past president of the tipper Cape Chapter of Deborah Hospital. She was active in the campaign to elect William J Hughes to Congress
