Muziani Would Lower Fees

TRENTON - Assemblyman Guy F. Muziani, R-Cape May/Cumberland, has introduced a bill to give seasonal hotel and resort rental-unit owners a break on inspection fees. Currently these owners pay up to $750 in inspection fees annually. Muziani said. "IT IS UNFAIR to ask owners of seasonal units to pay the same inspection fees as hotels which operate year round enterprises ', Muziani said. Under Muziani's bill A-3392 owners would pay half of the inspection fee charged other hotels if the resort facilities are

operated less than six months a year THE BILL, proposed after talks with Bob Patterson, executive director of the Cape May County Chamber of Commerce, would also make permanent a state law giving the Community Affairs Department the authority to set inspection fee rales. “If we are to encourage tourism in New Jersey" Muziani said, “We must provide our resort communities with fair laws to help them provide the kind of good service required of quality resort communities which compete for our tourism dollars."

Library Exhibit Features Teacher

WILDWOOD CREST - Pottery by Harry LaBov of Dennisville will be on display at the Wildwood Crest Public Library through May 22. LaBov is currently teaching art at the Middle Township Elementary School. He received a B.S degree in art education from Kutztown State Col** lege and has also studied pottery at Tusculum College in Tennessee, the State University of New York and Glassboro State College. He is near completion of a studio-barn and salt kiln on his property. The library is locted at 6301 Ocean Ave. The hours are 10-6, Monday throygh Friday, and 1-5 .Saturday and Sunday.
