CAPE MAY — Antique quilts and duck decoys, exhibitions of quilting and wood carving, and the raffling off of a vintage qdilt will highlight Cape May s third annual Quilt and Decoy Show. Sponsored by the midAtlantic Center fo^ the Arts, the show will M held in Cape May’s Convention Hall, May 28, from II A M to 10 P.M.. and on May 29. from 11 A M to3 P.M Pro ceeds from the $2 admis sion fee will go to the conti nuing restoration and preservation of the Emlen Physick Estate THE QUILT SHOW will feature a wide range of handmade quilts — antique and new, full-size and miniature, local and from as far away as Montana While most of the quilts will be for display only, a number will also be for sale. Demonstrations of quilting techniques will lake place on a regular schedule throughout the course of the show There also will be exhibits show ing quilLs used as table settings and wall hangings Before and during the show, raffle $1 tickets will be sold for an antique, handmade quilt incorporating lovely shades of pink and green in a geometric "all over" paltem. The drawing of the winning ticket will he at 3 P M. on Sunday (the winner need not lx? present, During May, this quilt will be displayed in the window of the Cfazy Quilt Fabric Shoppe. 656 Washington St. The public is invited to submit quilts for display in the show Anyone wishing to exhibit a quilt should bring it, for acceptance, to Convention Hall beween 9 A M. and 3 P.M. on May 27 THE DECOY SHOW will feature antique shore bird and duck decoys displayed in a natural setting. Many of these decoys were used by hunters of old Cape May, whose descendants

still use them today. A wood carver will be in attendance to demonstrate how decoys are made.
