AVALON - The third annual Cape May County Firemen's Association Waterball Tournament will be held here noon-4 p.m. Saturday, June 4, Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Burn Foundation to support the operation of the burn centers at Crozer-Chester Medical Center, St Agnes Medical Center, -Lehigh Valley Hospital Center and St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. The Avalon Fire Department, winner of 1982, will play host to fire companies from all over the county who will compete in the event. Waterball is played all over the county who will compete in the vent. Waterball is played with a five-

foot ball which is pushed towards a goal line hy high pressure water streams. Each team consists employs two-inch hose lines. The Burn Foundation helicopter, carrying a surprise guest, will be landing at 2 p.m. The event is being held at the Municipal park ing lot on Avalon Ave. between 28th and 29th Sts. near the Community Center. Wayne Dean, tournament chairman, reports that at least 12 fire companies will' be competing. Admission to the event is free and refreshments will be available.
