Time Out Dining Guide JUNK will bo bustin' out all over the place, starting today It’s summertime and the living is great! Strawberry time is upon us - so be sure to enjoy this delicious bounty. Vou can cat strawberries to your heart's content and not have to worry about calories. You can eat a lot of strawberries and you still won't have consumed a lot of calories. Munch on! Ail of our birds are exceedingly busy now Young birds have enormous appetite and the parents are busy from early dawn till dewy eve hunting and catching insects to satisfy those appetites Careful students of this subject estimate that not less than 26,000 bushels of insects are destroyed by birds every day in New Jersey. If it were not for this tremendous work of the birds, we wonder what the farmer and all of us would do to protect our food supply This week is an interesting one in the sky. The sun is so high at noon now that all noon shadows are very short This high path of the sun accross the sky is bringing us sunlight that falls nearly straight down upon us at noon, and so it brings a lot more heat than we got in December, even at noon when the sunlight came to utf on a long slant from a point far down in the southern sky. Our June skies will be fine at night this week. There may be some early thunderstorms, but when the sky is clear, there will be some beautiful things to see. Look for our most brilliant planets in the evening or morning — t Venus, red Mars, Jupiter and Saturn THE EATING is also fine this week. Here are some good ideas: Two Mile Inn — on the Waterfront. It’s generally agreed that one of the most scenic spots for a delicious seafood dinner is th^breathtaking Two Mile Inn Restaurant and Crab’ House, on Ocean Drive at the end of Wildwood Crest. We've seen many (if not most) of the nautical locations of fine restaurants in many places yet the Two Mile has got just about the best of all worlds — new Lounge, ex cellent chef and views that are worthy of being described as magnificant Call 522-1341 for reservations. The Swallows — a different place This is the premier season for The Swallows restaurant, on 400 Broadway at Congress Street, Cape May and the legendary house that serves as the location for this fine dining place revives the splendors of the distant past Everything — just everything has been completely restored to link the treasured history of the house with today's new image as a different dining spot. The Swallows is open nightly from 6 to 10:30 Reservations are sug gested Telephone 884-0400 MARABELLA'S — The great Italian standard. Italian food is eaten the world over and Marabella's — at 95th & Third Avenue. Stone Harbor has become one of the best known Italian restaurants along the Jersey shore. Marabella's has been widely written up — and vigorously reviewed — yet it always measures up to the great Italian traditions Artfully run. it is one of the nicest, most comfy Italian restaurants imaginable, with a large menu that includes homemade pasta and rich, stocky sauces mixed from the experienced hand of this noted family Green Cuisine — Exotic’ The very best of what's naturally delicious is on the menu at the Green Cuisine, 302 96th Street, Stone Harbor where an array of fresh salads, sandwiches and frothy blended beverages are available Stop in for eating-m or taking-out, and indulge yourself with such delights as the Garden Delight salad, a Zuccini
