Cookin' the Catch If You Like Garlic... By DIXIE L. ANDERSON The French prepare a garlic and shrimp dish that, for lovers of garlic, is fantastic! Shrimp doesn't come cheap these days, so the choice of preparation for the lovely pink seafood is often difficult If you like garlic, and you want your shrimp cooked in a idsh that will serve six to eight people, then don’t miss this favorite uncle |o the French dish SHRIMP FANTASTIQUE 3-4 pounds shrimp, cleaned and cooked 1 C butter (real) melted 2 large cloves garlic, minced 2 C soft bread crumbs , A dash of cayenne pepper k | 1/2 C Sherry , 1/3 C. chopped parsley f 1/2 tsp paprika I Add the garlic, parsley, cayenne, sherry and paprika to the melted butter Toss the bread crumbs in this mixture Lay the shrimp in a large flat baking dish i (9X13) Spoon the butter breadcrumb over all Top with additional parsley Bake at 325 for 20 i to 25 minutes This can be divided evenly among small individuhl baking dishes as well If you do this, bake only 20 minutes French bread is a must with this dish, and a special green salad dressed lightly with oil and wine vinegar Serve, what else'! a French wine, and your reputation as a gourmet cook will follow you wherever you go! Easy!
