Execs Buying Radio Station

AVALON — An application has been filed with the Federal Communications Commission, for permission to transfer ownership control of Radio Station WWOC. I^arry U. Keene, Carol H. Keene an<i Edwin A Rosenfeld, all county residents are listed as the buyer of the FM broadcast facility. Under terms of the application, the Keenes and Rosenfeld would ac quire the stock now held by John F Scarpa, Fred and

Dorothy Wood. The acquisition is, and expected to receive FFC consent by early July. While the exact purchase price was not revealed, the station is valued ih excess of $1 million.
