MUA Plans Expansion Of Office

SWAINTON - A contract for $69,900 was awarded May 18 by the County Municipal Utilities Authority to Rudolph Meckel and son, Vineland, for a modular office building. Meckel’s bid was the lowest of two presented for the office building, ranging up to $88,000. Site preparation and work on the parking area were bid as a separate contract with Albrecht & Heun, Inc.. Cape May Court House, being the low bidder at a price of $10,400.

Mrs Steenland will be enrolled in Berkeley's intensive secretarial program. which prepares students for responsible secretarial positions in the shortest possible time. Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Steenland. Miss Steenland is a senior at Middle Township High School, Court House, where she is a member of the National Honor Society and a participant in varsity soft ball, basketball and tennis Miss Steenland is the winner of the 1983 Cape May County Olympia Typewriting Contest

The office expansion will be installed at the rear of the present facilities here.
