Skimmer Weekend Highlights

SEA ISLE CITY - Highlights of the city’s activities for June include an antique auto parade and exhibition Sunday, June 12, with participants assembling 10:30 a.m., at the foot of the bridge, Kennedy Blvd., and the parade beginning at noon, proceeding to Townsends Inlet and returning to the Promenade. The annual Skimmer Weekend will be June 17-19.

Events include the Arco Jesse Owens Games, youth track and field program, at Dealy Field, for boys and girls 10-15, 10 a.m. Saturday, June 18. Contact is Chip Steelman, City Hall, 283-4461. CAPE MAY - The Jersey Cape Performing Arts Guild will sponsor its second summer acting workshop to run for eight weeks on Saturday mornings beginning Saturday. July 9, through Saturday. Aug. 27. Creative Dramatics for 8 to 10-year-olds will be held from 9-10 a m. Saturdays Acting Workshop for 11 to 14-year-olds will be 10:30 a m 12:30 p.m Saturdays Registration for classes will take place at the City Hall Auditorium 3-5 p m on Friday, June 17. and 10 a m.-noon Saturday, June 18.
