It we ms that many of our locals are unsung heroes and heroines For example, Kd and Aynr Zaberer. Jean Hewitt, one of the world’s foremost food experts, gave Zaberer’s a rave review in the New York
Times
Other equally adept critics for the same publication gave Wildwood's Ravioli House an excellent review Ravioli House is owned by Theresa and Tony
DeSantis.
Your scribe, as a free lance contributor to the New York Times Syndicate, knows the critics bypassed tens of thousands of metropolitan area restaurants to give rave reviews to two of our island
institutions.
ED ZABERER’S already has 11 dining rooms but the good news is that the DeSantis family is doubling the sire of Ravioli House so it will be able to seat 120. Joseph Popper and Sons and Atlantic Masonry are handling the renovations and the spot has already added a splendid new facade The DeSantis' came to th tljl.S.A 23 years ago frorr 1 (Abruzzi and

^ews Notes from The Wildwoods Charles V. Mathis
Some local families are so lively it scares you. One of these is the Art Sicilia clan of the Crest. Art is meat manager for Super Fresh in Court House. The Sicilias' son, Mark, is executive chef at the Sands Casino Another son. Bruce, a speech therapy graduate of Montclair College, is now Jn Baggio. Phillippines, attending medical school.
Foreigner, Heart, Randy Meisner, Judy Collins and the Doors. But the Joe Fulginitis' are just as proud of daughter Lisa. The Bucks County Courier Times has named Lisa coach of the year. Lisas' gymnastic team from Pennsburg, Pa won the PIAA state title by the highest score ever attained at a state title meet
Lin Campbell, manager of center island bus terminal, reports bus traffic running well ahead of last season. Greyhound buses are running an ambitious "reservation only" bus service from Montreal to Wildwood. Since the famed firm knows the density of traffic well in advance, it is not unusual to see four or five big Greyhounds arriving within a short time from the Canadian metropolis. Another "hot spot” area for visitors to Wildwood appears to be from Scranton and WilkesBarre, Pa. which has a busy regular bus service to the Wildwoods
Mrs Tony Cavalier of North Wildwood has graduated as a registered nurse. This is culmination of a life-long dream for Joai. SOME OF the achievements of local families are outstanding even on an international level. Mrs. and Mr Joseph Fulglnlti of Rio Grande Ave. are proud of the achievements of their children, Gregory and Lisa. Gregory, 31, is chief engineer and managing director of Artisan Sound Recorders in Hollywood He has had 16 records nominated for Grammy awards, including hits by Pat Benatar, Rick Springfield, John Coltrane and REOSpeedwagon. His firm has been responsible for mastering over 90 gold and platinum records over the past two decades. Cutting 300 LP's and as many singles each year. Fulginiti has honed himself a fine reputation as well as a developed skill. Greg records for other artists like Fleetwood Mac.
