COURT HOUSE - Preparations for. Middle Township’s Independence Day Celebration are nearing completion, according to Deputy Mayor Charles Leusner. Festivities will begin at noon July 3, and end about 10 p.m. at the Goshen Road Sports Complex. Events will includegames, music, special events, ‘'Tom Sawyer Day” activities, sports, and at dark, by a gigantic fireworks display. Much of the funding for the day’s activities has been obtained through donations and the sale of a raffle. Pri2«s for the raffle include: from American International Airways. Art Exhibit At League

CAPE MAY - The Professional Artists of South Jersey Inc. will exhibit the work of its members at the Cape May County Art League. 1050 Washington St., during July. There will be an opening reception at the League, noon-3 p m Saturday. July 2 The show will mark the 25th Anniversary celebra lion of the group, which was incorporated in 1958. It is an organization of painters, graphic artists and sculptors whose members have had their work accepted in at least three different accredited and open juried state or na tional shows, or have had work purchased by a museum or stale institution.
