CAMDEN - The 1983 House of Charity Appeal of the Camden Diocese has raised a record total of $834,811, representing 111 percent of its goal. "Our message to the parishes and to the business Community was that the needs were greater than ever and that our $1,650,000 goal was a realistic minimum reflection of that situation," said Bishop George H. Guilfoyle. ^ THE APPEAL will con tinue in the six coufflies making up the diocese,.Ac cording to Msgr. Eugeni Pack, director of the House of Charity, which financially assists a wide range of charities, social services, counselling and other programs. Among the parishes which have surpassed their individuals goals since the last report period were Our Lady of the Angels, Court House; St. Frances Cabrini, Ocean City, and St. Paul. Stone Harbor.

Vacation School Set

CAPE MAY — "Seasons of the Son" is the Vacation Church School program to be offered by the Lutheran Church. 509 Pittsburgh Ave. This Bible-based theme will retell the story of the life of Jesus and the birth of the church through the observance of the seasons of the church year The school will run July 11 through July 22 There will be stories, crafts, music, and games * The closing program will be held on Thursday, July 21 for parents and friends. On Friday the school will travel to the County Park Tor a picnic. Registrations are still being accepted for children ages 3 and 4, 5 and 6, Grades 1 and 2, Grades 3-5, by calling the church office ct 884-2181. Pastor Ron Nelson is the director.
