gone to far away places ... We cannot leave without expressing our heart-felt appreciation for all the wonderful things you made possible for us while living in Stone Harbor and Avalon ... In the ‘tomokrows’ ahead, we hope to see you when we return with the turtles. Thank you for letting us share a part of your lives ... We love you, Joe 4nd Norma Betz." They also mentioned cherished events like their children, Barbara and Michael, graduating from Middle Township and three out of four grandchildren being baptized at their favorite church, St. Mary’s in Stone Harbor. Among many friends they’ll miss most are the “Callahans, Ottons, Rudrauffs, Van de Pols and the Boraks." Norma and Joe have been an important part of our lives too;* we wish them well and hope they'll come back with the turtles each year. A friend oi ours has a collection of every Avalon Beach Tag ever issued with the exception of the year 1972. He is very anxious to locate one for that year (it’s sort of like missing a front tooth). If you know someone who could supply his missing tag he'd appreciate you’re calling our number, given above, and he’ll gratefully give you a call.
