Activities La^t Into October 1 OCEAN CITY - Special events and entertainment, like waves from the Atlantic Ocean, keep rolling in during September and October. On Saturday, Sept 3, the Bizaare Bazaar, an unusual crafts festival, will be held by the Ocean City Arts Center. Weavers, leather workers and stained glass artisans among' others will show their work. Show hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the Music Pier, Boardwalk and Moorlyn Terr. The Senior Citizens Crafts Festival is 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 13 and 14. This show will offer a variety of crafts ranging from knitted articles to woodwork. Admission is free. The Happy Hoofers Ballroom Dance Club will hold a dance at the Music Pier 8:30 p.m. Sept. 17th. The Ambers will play. On Saturday, Sept. 24, a * Decoy Show featuring the area’s finest wood carvers will be held at the Pier 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Admission is free. THE OCEAN CITY "Pops" Orchestra concludes its season 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7. The group, under the direction of Frank Ruggieri, has been playing at the Pier since July. Other entertainment set for the Pier in September includes the LuLu Temple Concert Band, 8 p.m. Sept. 4, free. The Jubiliare Singers will appear 8 p.m. Sept. 8. On Sunday, Sept. 11, Frank Ruggieri and the I'Tops” Orchestra will ’return for a special free concert starting 8 p.m. The Young At Heart takes over the Pier Sept. 15 followed by the Sweet Adelines Sept. 16. Both concerts start 8 p.m. Doris Bellen, organist, will present a recital at the Pier 8 p.m. Sept. 19, Steven Bemick, a young gospel singer, will sing at the Pier 8 p.m. Sept. 21. (Page 34 Please)
